6 of the Best Family Friendly Airbnb Homes in Copenhagen

If you’ve ever been to Copenhagen before, you’ll know that the city screams ‘family friendly.’ It seems Danish babies hardly ever cry, and it’s common for parents to leave their babies asleep outside in their strollers while they run into the grocery store. Believe it or not, the city is safe enough for people to do that, and children are adored. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot to go on your next vacation, put Copenhagen on your list and check out these Airbnb homes for your stay while you’re there.

Whoever said you had to leave luxury behind when you have a family? Not us! This incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated apartment is perfect for a growing family. There’s not one but TWO king-sized beds for adults or teenagers who may want them and then there’s also 2 futon beds for any little ones who are along for the ride. The open floor plan is a dream for any parents who find their kids need a lot of room to play, stretch, and run around.

What are some of the dream elements that will make your family travel that much easier? Self-check-in for one. Airbnb is awesome, but sometimes when you have a lot of people involved already, it isn’t ideal to add another person to the equation. The self-check-in feature will allow you to access the accommodation as soon as you need it. You’ll also have a full kitchen and washer and dryer at your disposal. Those are an absolute must when it comes to kiddos running around. You can also use the TV and WiFi to help entertain your family when you’re not out in the neighborhood.

In this neighborhood, you’ll be able to walk to Tivoli, Tirvehallerne, and Nyhavn. You’ll be a few minutes from Central Station and be able to peruse at your pace!

What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘villa’? Perhaps a luxurious house in Italy, and isn’t that thought even better in the serenity of Scandinavia? You’ll get to experience that in Copenhagen with your entire family. Bring grandma! Bring grandpa! Bring cousins! This house sleeps a whopping 12 guests. There are 8 beds in 6 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Once you go home, you’ll miss the spacious vibe of this home.

In addition to the outstanding sleeping accommodations, you’ll be pampered with the over 50 amenities that this house offers. Our favorites are the indoor fireplace, Wi-Fi (of course), kitchen, parking, crib, high chair, and babysitter recommendations. That’s right! The host will give you babysitter recommendations if you need them, so even if you’re traveling with your little ones, you can still get a night away. Any city sights you want to see (with or without kids) are only a short train ride away.

Alright, so you might have thought that the last house was large, and it was, but this home is next level. This city house rents out their entire 5 floors that allows between 14 to 18 guests to stay. This means if you really want to have a European family vacation or reunion, then you know exactly where to do it. If you want to be extra comfortable, stay on the lower end of 14 but know that you can add a few more relatives in and still have enough beds (there are 17 total!).

This location is especially ideal if you have an active family who wants to do a lot in the city as well. You can expect to step outside and be able to walk to all of Copenhagen’s finest attractions. As a result, if your family loves the quiet, this might not be the best spot for you since there is quite a hustle and bustle. Yet, if you love something accessible to attractions and all staying together, then you’ll be set for your trip.
